two “what I wore” posts in one week!  what a treat, right? ;)

I thought I had established something resembling a posting schedule the past couple of weeks, but I’ve pretty much thrown that idea out the window.  because hey, the weather is warm again!  I’m wearing cute clothes again!  we don’t need no stinkin’ schedules.  [blog talk posts are still coming on Thursdays, though.  I have a lot of ideas on that front, so prepare yourself for the long haul.]

this outfit is partially inspired by things other people have worn (like this and this).  I’ve been really drawn to the idea of mixing stripes and florals lately, and decided to put my own spin on things with this damask-ish skirt that I picked up at Target over the weekend.  the fancy new Target that just opened, to be exact.  I swear, I WANT EVERYTHING IN THAT ENTIRE STORE. no exaggeration. but because I’m a poor college student, I had to limit myself to picking up just this skirt. and a couple of pairs of jeans.
