pink jeans: fun.

this outfit formed as kind of a random mishmash of ideas.  I bought this blouse from Ruche a couple weeks back, and something about the navy and the polka dots made me really want to pair it with my pink pants [and thus the idea for this series was born!].  is that a random combination?  maybe.  but I like it.  that gold thing on my head is a gift sent to me by my dear friend Selina, which I then converted into a headband-thing for the take of ingenuity, I guess.  I added the long pearl necklace because I felt under-accessorized.  and the crazy socks were because it was cold [and also partially inspired by Kendi].

let it be known that I had a horrible time taking these pictures.  it was horribly cloudy all week, so I waited until yesterday morning when the sun reappeared - but then it was too sunny.  so I had to seek out a shady corner of the parking deck that looked secluded up until I set up my tripod - and then I swear half the city of Birmingham decided to walk/drive by.  on the 5th floor of the on-campus-students parking deck.  gahhh I JUST WANT PEACE.  I started shooting people the stink eye; I think it even made one girl turn around and find somewhere else to park.  success.  so anyway, long story short, these photos are not my best effort.
